Conquering Life's Giants: Trusting in the Same God Who Never Fails

I want to encourage someone today that is standing on the precipice of something that seems impossible to cross over.  Or someone who finds themselves faced with a mountain that seems insurmountable or a problem that you have absolutely no solution for.  Maybe those that are coming against you at this time, appear like giants that can tear you to pieces. 

I want to remind you that the same God who equipped David to defeat giants, the Mighty One who fears nothing and has no foe that can defeat Him, is standing on your side.  The One who overshadowed Mary with His love and she bore a Son without the help of an earthly man, He is with you.  The only One who parted an entire sea, so His people could cross over out of danger has rend the heavens to come to your aid. 

When you are struggling to pay your bills or when your heart is weighty with concerned about how to provide for your family, with prices skyrocketing and jobs diminishing.  Remember the God of Elisha who in the midst of drought and famine was fed by a raven.  This is the same God, who led Joseph out of a prison to become second in command of Egypt in order to save nations during a monumental famine that stretched across multiple countries. 

God loves you just the same as each one of them.  You are precious in His sight.  His arm is not too short to save you.  He hears you when you cry.  He in not only a God who hears but a God who answers.  He will provide.  He is the same yesterday, today and forever.   The One who hangs the moon and calls each star by name, loves you and provides for you.

Do you have an enormous problem standing in front of you?  Does it keep you up at night?  May I remind you that the same God who helped all the saints of old, the One whom an entire book of over 1200 pages has recorded His faithfulness in order to encourage your heart and remind you that He will be that same God for you! 

If you believe you are not eligible due to countless mistakes and repeated sins, remember that His faithfulness is not based on your actions. He remains true to His Word, His identity, and His unchanging nature. He is consistently God who fulfills His promises to every generation.

When we were all lost and had such an insurmountable debt of sin written against us, that His wrath should abide upon us, instead He sent His Son to die for us and fully paid the debt that we could never pay. He made us the righteousness of God through Christ.

If that wasn’t enough, do you know that every day before you even wake and call it a day, He has already gone ahead of you and loaded it with benefits?  Every time your enemy tries to plot evil against you, God is at work to turn that very thing for your good. 

I want to reassure you that no matter what you’ve got going on in your life, you can count on God.  He is the same God!
